Generative Design Drone
Under the guidance of my professor, Xue (Stella) Dong, I studied the process of generative design and its potential use in the art & design field. For my study, I began by attempting to create a lighter and more resource-friendly drone body using Fusion 360 and 3D Printing. It was a work in progress and flight has been achieved but still needs further fine-tuning on the design process for it to be more efficient. In March of 2022, I had the pleasure to discuss my research and process with middle school, high school, and higher level educators at the 2022 NAEA National Convention in New York City and to the students at Heights Middle School in Farmington, New Mexico Via Video Call
