Band Series

My love of music and seeing bands live in concert has driven me to create builds and minifigures centered around the bands, songs, and albums that I love. I have had a blast making all of these and can't wait to make more!

Slow Pulp

This collection of custom Minifigures is based on the band Slow Pulp from Chicago Illinois. All parts are official LEGO pieces, hand-picked to piece together a figure resembling each band member.

After posting the original post of the four band members on Instagram, the band reached out to me to help them create an advertisement for an upcoming giveaway. The photo was posted on the band's official social media pages. I got to combine my LEGO, Photography, and Photoshop skills on this project.

After that, I was commissioned by a friend of the band to create a recreation of the van they drive while on tour to give as a gift to one of the members. I wanted to make the commission extra special so I added a concert stage to display the Minifigures on, a box to resemble an official LEGO set, and instructions so they could build the van like an actual set. I created the digital model, instructions, and renders in Stud.io. I am incredibly happy with the results. The band created a dedicated post to the commission on their Instagram page, and it now sits in their recording studio.

To celebrate, and channel my excitement for the release of their second studio album "Yard", I recreated the album cover using LEGO bricks. It was built to scale with a vinyl record sleeve, with part of a vinyl disc sliding out of the brick built album cover. Like the Minifigures and the Van before it, the album cover was shared by the band on their Instagram
